Internet Safety Workshop - 10/12/2018:Helen Butler from the National Parents' Council will facilitate a workshop on the topic of internet/cyber safety on Monday, December 10th from 7.30 p.m. - 9.00 p.m in our school. All parents are welcome and urged to attend this meeting. Helen will facilitate another workshop with our students on Thursday, December 13th.
Handball - 03/12/2018:Good luck to our girls who will take part in the first round of the u11 mini Olympic handball competition in St. Pats NS, Tuam at 10 a.m. tomorrow, December 4th.
Thank You:An absolutely massive thank you to everybody who supported our annual Sale of Work today, December 2nd. We are overwhelmed by the level of support we have received over the past couple of weeks in the lead up to the event and the turnout today was fantastic. The kindness and generosity we have received from parents and the wider community is remarkable. We hope everybody enjoyed the day. We will let you know in the coming days how much was raised but early signs are that it is a very significant sum of money. We will ensure that the funds raised will go towards making improvements to our school for the excellent students we have. We will also inform you all of prize winners from today and acknowledge the sponsorship that we received. Thank you all so much!
Sale of Work:Our annual Sale of Work fundraiser will take place on Sunday, December 2nd at 12.30 p.m. in our school hall. It promises to be a very enjoyable day and all are welcome to join us. We greatly appreciate all the support from parents and the wider community in the preparation for and running of this event. Thank you to those who have sponsored raffle prizes, bought raffle tickets and donated spot prizes for the Wheel of Fortune. We are all looking forward to the day.
Mad Scientist - 16/11/2018:We were visited by the Mad Scientist today, November 16th as part of Science Week. Thanks to Jay who put on a show for the Junior Infants - 2nd Class as well as one for the 3rd - 6th Class students.
Maths Quiz - 16/11/2018:Well done to Aoife, Blaine, Conor and Jessica for representing the school in a maths quiz organised by Tuam Education Centre today, November 16th in the Ard Rí hotel.
Team Hope Christmas Shoebox Appeal - 12/11/2018:There was a fantastic response this year to the Team Hope Christmas Shoebox Appeal. Very well done to all those who took the time to donate a gift filled shoebox. We are proud to have supported such a worthy cause.

Junior Entrepreneur Programme - 15/10/2018:We received a plaque and certificates acknowledging the great work by our students who took part in the 2018 Junior Entrepreneur Programme. Well done boys and girls!
Mini 7s Football (Boys) - 05/10/2018:Our boys played excellently today in the mini 7s football competition in Belclare. They won two games and lost one which meant they narrowly lost out on a place in the final. Well done boys!
