FAI 5s - 26/03/2019:Our girls were in soccer action in the FAI 5s in Newbridge today, March 26th. They did very well and can be pleased with their performances. Well done girls!
Spelling Bee - 26/03/2019:Well done to MacDara who reached the fourth round of the Eason Spelling Bee in Tuam today. He can be very proud of himself.
Sacrament of Penance - 26/03/2019:Well done to the 2nd class boys and girls who made their First Confession today, March 26th. Thanks to Fr. Mullins for celebrating the sacrament with the children. Thanks also to Mrs. Grealish for preparing the children and to all that came on the day.
Congratulations Corofin - 17/03/2019:Huge congratulations to Corofin on the magnificent achievement of winning yet another All Ireland Club Championship title from us all in Annagh Hill. A fantastic performance by a super group of players!

Pieta House Fundraiser - 14/03/2019:Thanks to all who very generously supported our Amber Flag Fundraiser in aid of Pieta House. Total funds raised amounted to a fantastic €449.07. Well done to Mrs. Grealish, who is leading the Amber Flag initiative which promotes positive mental health, and the Amber Flag committee of Saibh, Michael, Keela, Cathal, Jude, Carla, Grace and MacDara for organising this event. A big thank you to Claudia Vanoli who very kindly took the children for a yoga session. The children really enjoyed it. Very well done to all involved in raising funds for such a worthy cause.
Amber Flag - 12/03/2019:As part of our Amber flag initiative, the school will hold a mental health awareness day and fundraiser for Pieta House this Thursday, 14th March. Each class will participate in a yoga class instructed by Claudia Vanoli and there will be healthy snacks made by our Amber flag committee available to purchase on the day. We ask that all families try to support this worthy cause by donating €2 towards the yoga session and also giving the children some money to purchase the snacks available. All money raised will go to Pieta House.
Readathon - 07/03/2019: Our Readathon starts today, March 7th (World Book Day). We encourage students to make an extra effort with their reading and keep a record of the books they have read in their Readathon Log. The Readathon will end on Thursday, April 11th where prizes will be awarded to the children who make the best effort in each class.
