• Readathon Winners - 11/04/2019: Congratulations to our Readathon winners. Kealan, Dylan, Jennifer, Nathan, Freya, Sarah, Katie and Nicole will all receive a €10 voucher to spend at our book fair which will take place in May. Well done to all the boys and girls who took part.
  • Easter Raffle Fundraiser - 11/04/2019: A sincere thank you to all who contributed to our Easter Raffle fundraiser. A total of €326.50 was raised. The proceeds will go towards Epilepsy Ireland, the Corofin Féile Fund and Fight for Regina.
  • Raftery Cup - 08/04/2019: Our Raftery Cup campaign got off to the best possible start today, April 8th in Belclare. We won three matches out of three. All the boys and girls contributed to a fantastic group effort and some super football was played. Our next matches will take place after the Easter break on April 30th.
  • Corofin Footballers Visit - 05/04/2019: Many thanks to the members of the Corofin team who brought the Andy Merrigan Cup to our school today, along with club chairman Michael Ryder. We greatly appreciate them taking the time to visit our school and speak to the children. They also obliged by taking photos and signing autographs. We wish this fantastic group of players all the very best in the year ahead.
  • Cumann na mBunscol Football - 05/04/2019: Our girls took part in the Cumann na mBunscol 9 a side Football competition today, April 5th in Caherlistrane. They worked very hard throughout and played some great football. Well done to Annaghdown who will progress to the final.
  • ICA Art Competition - 04/04/2019: Congratulations to Catherine in 3rd class and Blaine in 6th who both came 2nd place in their respective categories in the ICA art competition sponsored by Cregal Art. They will be presented with their prizes on April 13th at a ceremony in the Menlo Park Hotel. Very well done to both.
  • Mini-Olympic Handball County Finals - 03/04/2019: Our girls did us very proud today, April 3rd in the County Finals of the u13 mini Olympic Handball competition in Knocknacarra. They made it all the way to the final where they were defeated in extra time. Well done to the girls and Mrs. Hughes for all the hard work they have put in preparing for the competition and for how they performed on the day.
  • Art Exhibition/Choir Performance - 03/04/2019: Well done to the children from juniors to 2nd class who have spent the last eight weeks working with resident artist, Ester Kiely. Thanks to Ester for all her help, kindness and dedication to the children in our school. The children's artwork was on display in the school hall today and thanks to all the parents who took the time to come along to view it. Well done also to the children from 3rd to 6th class who performed some lovely songs from their repertoire from the National Children's Choir.
  • FAI 5s - 02/04/2019: Well done to our boys who reached the quarter final stage of the FAI 5s in Newbridge today, April 2nd. Conditions were difficult but they played very well before losing one nil at the quarter final stage. Well played lads!
  • Mini-Olympic Handball - 28/03/2019: Congratulations to our girls who have qualified for the county finals of the u13 mini Olympic handball competition following an excellent performance in Knocknacarra today, March 28th. The finals will take place next Wednesday, April 3rd. Very well played girls!
