  • Back to School - 30/08/2019: We’re looking forward to welcoming all our students back to school tomorrow, August 30th. We hope you all had a great summer. A special word for our new junior infants who will be starting their journey in primary school.
  • Summer Holidays - 27/06/2019: All of us at Annagh Hill NS and Little Hands would like to wish you a very enjoyable and safe summer holiday. We’ve had a wonderful year and we look forward in anticipation to the 2019/2020 school year. Thank you all so much for your kindness, generosity and support for our school. We really appreciate it.
  • End of Year/Graduation Mass - 26/06/2019: We celebrated our End of Year/Graduation Mass today in our school hall. It was a lovely occasion and all the boys and girls must be credited for their participation. Thank you to Fr. Mullins for celebrating the mass. Following the mass we had some refreshments and presentations were made to our 6th class students. They have been a wonderful class during the years they have spent at Annagh Hill and have been a pleasure to teach. We wish every one of them the best in their very bright futures.
  • Visit from Turloughmore Féile Winners - 25/06/2019: Many thanks to the members of the U14 Turloughmore hurling squad who visited our school today, June 25th along with their coach John Duggan. They have had a very successful year winning the County Championship, County Féile and the All Ireland Féile. We congratulate them on their fantastic achievements and wish them continued success in the future.
  • Sponsored Walk, Amber Flag and Irish Dancing Performnce - 25/06/2019: A great day was had today as we had our sponsored walk, raised our first Amber Flag and our pupils put on an Irish dancing performance. Thanks to all who joined us on our walk and who donated. The sum raised will be disclosed once we have a final figure. Well done to our Amber Flag committee, led by Mrs. Grealish, who worked hard all year to be awarded the flag. Finally, a big thank you to Susan O’Shaughnessy who prepared the boys and girls for their Irish dancing performance.
  • Cumann na mBunscol Hurling Final - 13/06/2019: Hard luck to our hurlers who were narrowly defeated after extra time in the 9 a side Cumann na mBunscol County Final in Lárionad, Claregalway. They battled hard throughout and were very unfortunate not to come away with a victory. We are so proud of them and know that they will learn a lot from the experience.
  • Treacy Cup - 12/06/2019: A hearty congratulations to our girls who played brilliantly to win the Treacy Cup basketball competition in Belclare today, June 13th. Many thanks to Mrs. Hughes and Mrs. Martin for training the girls. Also, thank you to Belclare NS for hosting this year’s competition. We are delighted for the girls and we are very proud of them.
  • Patricia Kelly & Nicholson Cups - 05/06/2019: Congratulations to our boys and girls who took part in the Nicholson and Patricia Kelly Cup competitions today, June 5th in Monivea. The girls made it to the Shield Final while the boys won the Nicholson Cup after extra time in what was a great match. We are very proud of all of them. Very well done to all!
  • School Tours - 31/5/2019: Despite the rain, all of our students had a great day on their school tours. The junior infants - 2nd class visited the Ailwee Caves, the Burren Nature Sanctuary and Atlantic AirVenture. The 3rd - 6th class visited Westport Adventure Park. They must be commended for their excellent participation and behaviour on the day.
