  • Mini 7s County Finals - 12/10/2016: Our boys performed superbly in the County Finals of the mini 7s football competition in Loughgeorge today. They won their three group games and progressed to the semi-final, a match they eventually won after extra time. They worked tirelessly again in the final but narrowly lost out to Oranmore NS on a scoreline of 1-8 to 1-4. The boys deserve huge credit for the skill, determination and work rate they showed in every match and to reach a County Final is a tremendous achievement. We are so proud of all of them. Thanks to all those who came to support the boys.
  • Visit from Turloughmore u-21s - 07/10/2016: Many thanks to the players, coaches and backroom staff of the victorious Turloughmore u-21 team who visited our school today. It was great to have Tom Shiel, Joe Hession and Gerry Linnane along with players Karl Conneely, Tiernan Collins and Brion Connolly visit us with the Frank Fahy Cup. Tiernan and Brion are past pupils of Annagh Hill NS and we were delighted to welcome them back. We'd also like to congratulate James Murphy, another past pupil, who was unable to make it today.
  • Mini 7s Hurling - 30/09/2016: Our hurlers were in action in Carnmore today in the mini 7s competition. A win and two defeats in their group meant that they didn't progress further. Our 3rd and 4th class boys played a game against Bawnmore NS after our group matches. Well done to all players.
  • Mini 7s Football - 23/09/2016: Well done to our girls and boys who competed in the Corofin section of the mini 7s in Belclare today. Our girls won two of their three group matches and just missed out on a place in the final. Our boys topped their group and did superbly well to win the final. They now go on to take part in the County Finals in Loughgeorge on Wednesday, October 12th. We're very proud of all our boys and girls. Thanks to all who came out to support our teams.

  • Take on the Teachers Challenge - 16/09/2016: As today was National Fitness Day, we all had great fun today taking part in a "Take on the Teachers" challenge. We had a penalty shootout, an obstacle course relay, a free throw shootout and a tug of war challenge. Congratulations to the students who put their teachers to shame by coming out on top in the end. We can look forward to a rematch in the future.
