Indoor Soccer Tournament - 27/01/2017: Well done to our 4th, 5th and 6th class boys who took part in an indoor soccer tournament run by Coláiste Mhuire, Ballygar today. We entered two teams and they ended up playing each other at the quarter final stage where they were only separated by a golden goal. The team that progressed were defeated in the semi final on penalties. All the boys can be very proud of themselves and we had a very enjoyable day.
Open Day: An open morning for parents and prospective pupils for the school year 2017- 2018 will take place on Thursday, February 9th from 10.00 to 12.00. All are very welcome to come and view our school. Little Hands Montessori and Afterschool Care will also be viewing on the same day. Christmas Break - 22/12/2016: We wish you all a very happy, safe and peaceful Christmas. We sincerely thank you for your continued support and look forward to seeing you all in the New Year when the school re-opens on January 9th.
Visit from Monivea-Abbey GAA - 22/12/2016: A big thank you to the members of the Monivea-Abbey GAA club who visited our school today, December 22nd, with the County Intermediate Cup. Brian and Paul Flaherty, along with Denis Farragher are past pupils of Annagh Hill and it was great to welcome them back. They were accompanied by Bobby Mullins and Gabriel Divilly, both of whom we'd also like to thank for giving of their time to visit our school. We wish them all the best in 2017.
Christmas Outing - 20/12/2016: The children from Junior Infants to Second Class were treated to a wonderful Christmas play in Leisureland on Tuesday, december 20th. Performed by Tallisman Theatre Company, 'Frosty the Snowman' was thoroughly enjoyed by all the children.
Brooklodge Nursing Home - 19/12/2016: The children from Fifth and Sixth classes went to Brooklodge Nursing Home on Monday, Decmeber 19th, to entertain everyone with Christmas carols, music, gymnastics and set dancing. Well done boys and girls.
Competition Winner - 14/12/2016: Congratulations to Conor in 4th class who was a winner of a Lackagh Museum Craft Fair competition. Very well done Conor.
Christmas Concert - 13/12/2016: Sincere thanks to all who came along to our Christmas show where the Junior Infants - 2nd Class children performed 'A Special Kind of Present' and the 3rd - 6th Class pupils performed 'Cinderella and Rockerfella'. We hope you all enjoyed it. A big thank you to all who helped out in any way to make it a great event for our school. Well done to all the children for their fantastic performances.
Mini Olympic Handball County Champions - 07/12/2016: Congratulations to our u-11 girls who won the mini Olympic handball County Finals in Knocknacarra today. They defeated Tirellan Heights NS in the final following a penalty shootout. It is a tremendous achievement and we are incredibly proud of them. Very well done girls!
Sale of Work 2016: Thanks so much to everybody who helped make our annual Sale of Work such an enjoyable day again this year.
